Good things come in small packages. Each corner of this room introduces a new element to the palette of materials.

“Our kitchen has totally transformed our home. It’s such a pleasure to use every day. It makes perfect use of a small space – it has everything we need whilst still feeling light and open. A tricky design brief met with elegance!”

Sometimes it’s the little ones that provide the biggest challenge. This small north facing kitchen needed to house a lot of appliances and provide ample storage without feeling overloaded and heavy. The brief was to keep the kitchen feeling light and open by using the space cleverly and selecting the right balance of materials.

We clustered the largest appliances together in tall units and included extra pantry storage within them to make the most efficient and practical use of the space. The white Fenix doors and worktops keep the space bright. Personality and warmth are added through the use of Foresso splashbacks, birch plywood cabinets, handmade sycamore handles, turmeric-yellow drawer dividers and open shelving which displays the clients colourful collections.
