East Way
A peninsula to prepare and cook on both defines and divides this bright extension backing onto the South Downs. The wall of hidden storage contains everything you’ll need at your fingertips.
“Wonderful company to work with. We love our new kitchen. Thank you to everyone at Wunsch.”

For our artistic and environmentally focussed clients, their extension backing onto the South Downs National Park was an opportunity to build a kitchen for life, whilst injecting their personality and ethos into the design. It was a joy for us to work alongside them to help them realise this.
The island peninsula is the center point of the room and both defines and divides the space itself. The division of the space was very intentional; the peninsula kept the whole room feeling linked, but gave each area its own feel. The wall of tall storage on the back wall has everything you'd need at your fingertips, without impacting or intruding on the rest of the room. Depending on the use of the space, the central pantry on the back wall can be left open, with its doors folding neatly away.
Inspired by the elegant and natural Scandinavian style, quartersawn Larch veneers define the palette, elevated and complemented with warm red and aubergine accents in Fenix.
